What is polish pl-01?

The PL-01 is a Polish tank concept developed by Obrum with cooperation from BAE Systems. It was first unveiled at the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce on 2 September 2013.

The PL-01 is a light tank with a weight of around 33 tons, and it is designed to be air-droppable and easily transportable. It is also stealthy, with a low profile and a special armor that can deflect radar waves.

The tank is armed with a 105mm cannon, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and a remote-controlled turret with a machine gun. The main gun can fire a range of projectiles, including armor-piercing and high-explosive rounds.

The PL-01 is also equipped with advanced sensors and communication systems. These include thermal imaging cameras, laser rangefinders, and a battle management system that allows the tank to share data with other friendly units.

The PL-01 has not yet entered production but has generated interest from several European countries. Its cost and potential capabilities, however, remain a topic of debate.
